Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Stalin Starksson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bill Annunaki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Starksson comes to the cage accompanied by War is my destiny. Annunaki has chosen Tool - Aenima as his entrance music. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
14 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Stalin Starksson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
18 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Bill Annunaki! The judges for this bout are William Peck, Gregory Folan and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Starksson throws a combination that misses and Annunaki counters with a head kick. Starksson fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Annunaki throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Starksson throws a push kick but Annunaki slaps the foot to one side. Annunaki gets a clinch. Starksson struggles to land a body shot inside as Annunaki controls his hands.
Starksson blocks a body shot from Annunaki. Annunaki tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Annunaki misses with a short punch on the inside. Annunaki misses with a hook from the clinch. Starksson wants to take the fight to the mat but Annunaki manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. A short right from Annunaki. Starksson is trying to break free. A short body shot lands from Annunaki as the two fighters clinch.

Annunaki digs a right hand into Starksson's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Starksson's gas tank.

Starksson scores with a shot to the side of Annunaki's head. Annunaki misses with a hook from the clinch. Annunaki lands a right hand that snaps the head of Starksson backwards. Annunaki lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. Starksson misses with some punches.
Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Starksson. Both fighters working to control the clinch. A nice right hand lands inside from Annunaki. Annunaki has a couple of punches blocked by Starksson.

Starksson has Annunaki pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Starksson pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Annunaki tumbling to the mat - Starksson dives into Annunaki's guard. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Annunaki is pulling down on Starksson's head. It's preventing any offense from Starksson, at least for the moment.
That's two minutes gone in the round. This has been an exciting period of action! Starksson engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Starksson advances position into side control! Starksson connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Annunaki some visible discomfort.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Starksson is looking to take a break and control but Annunaki is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Starksson laying and praying for a moment but Annunaki takes advantage and regains half guard. Starksson wants to control but Annunaki is keeping him busy.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Annunaki moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Annunaki tries to land a sweep but no joy. Starksson working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Starksson might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Starksson pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Annunaki is keeping the position for now. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Starksson stands and throws Annunaki's legs to the side, diving into side control. Annunaki manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Stalin Starksson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. The fighters circle momentarily. Starksson darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Bill Annunaki is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Annunaki tries to clinch up. Annunaki avoids a punch combination nicely.
Annunaki buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Starksson thows a body shot but no joy. Annunaki steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Starksson. That one must have hurt. Starksson fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Annunaki has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Starksson feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Annunaki wants to stand but Starksson is controlling the position. Starksson won't allow Annunaki to sweep him here.

He's being very persistent here but Annunaki manages to land a sweep and now he's on top! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. That's two minutes gone in the round. Annunaki won't allow Starksson to sweep him here. Starksson is trying to control the position but Annunaki postures up. Annunaki wants to stand but Starksson is controlling his posture from full guard.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Stalin Starksson wasn't doing enough on the ground. Annunaki tries to clinch but Starksson moves away and Starksson connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Starksson scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Bill Annunaki is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Starksson has a takedown stuffed. Annunaki closes the distance and pushes Starksson back into the cage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Starksson makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Starksson gets control of Annunaki's arms and successfully pulls guard. Starksson will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Starksson trying to control the position here. Annunaki stopping the sweep attempt from Starksson. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Starksson is on top in guard.

Starksson throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Annunaki works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Starksson pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Starksson throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Annunaki works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Starksson has hold of one of Annunaki's legs. Annunaki is fighting the takedown attempt but Starksson gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard. Annunaki keeping moving, preventing Starksson from controlling successfully. Annunaki avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Annunaki is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Starksson dives into side control.
Annunaki regains half guard there - taking advantage of Starksson's attempt to lay and pray for a moment. Starksson is looking to advance position but Annunaki won't allow it.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Starksson wants to control the pace but Annunaki is squirming around nicely. Starksson tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Annunaki is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.
Annunaki sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Starksson performing his best blanket impression for a moment. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Stalin Starksson. Annunaki defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Starksson. Starksson thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Annunaki if he has to take too many more of those.

That's four minutes gone in the round. A low kick from Starksson misses and Annunaki counters with a left to the body. Both fighters are breathing heavily. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Annunaki throws a head kick that misses and Starksson counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Annunaki misses with a series of wild punches.
Annunaki takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Bill Annunaki seems to be getting the better of the standup. Annunaki takes a body punch but keeps moving. Starksson is looking to wear down Annunaki with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Annunaki misses with a combination
and Starksson decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Annunaki's guard.
