Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Bill Hicks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kilo Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hicks comes into the arena with Bang Your Head blaring out of the sound system. The crowd seem to be enjoying Jackson's choice of entrance music: Inspectah Deck - Friction. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 16 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Bill Hicks!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Kilo Jackson!
The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, William Peck and Steve Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice shot lands for Hicks.
Hicks defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Jackson.

Hicks stuns Jackson with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Hicks looks to land a right hand but Jackson moved out of range.
Jackson looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Hicks fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Jackson looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Jackson ducks under a wild hook from Hicks.
Hicks scores with a nice right hand.
Jackson shoots in looking for a takedown but Hicks manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Jackson's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Bill Hicks has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kilo Jackson.
Jackson shoots in for a double leg but Hicks sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Hicks has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Hicks lands a really nice looking cross but Jackson seems unphased.
Jackson shoots in for a takedown but Hicks shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Jackson escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Hicks gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Hicks throws a strike but Jackson rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Hicks working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Jackson doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Jackson manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Hicks is on top in guard.

Jackson is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Hicks is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

Hicks got a little sloppy there for a moment and Jackson has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Hicks has managed to get both his arms back between Jackson's legs - danger averted.
Hicks stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Jackson swivels though and keeps the full guard.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Hicks accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
