Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are George Francis, Cecil Peabody and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tim fails in his attempt to clinch.
Mendoza shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Tim but Tim pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Mendoza avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Tim clinches with his opponent.
Tim breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Mendoza drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Mendoza is breathing heavily.
Tim tries to land a knee to the head but Mendoza blocks with his arms.

Tim is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Mendoza gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Tim gets a nice trip takedown into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Tim prevents Mendoza from improving his position.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Tim lands a nice short elbow.
Mendoza is rocked!

Tim is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Mendoza doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Tim.

A big strike lands for Tim! That's really hurt Mendoza and he's turned his back - Tim keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Tim Jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:04 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Tim Tim!
