The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, David Schapiro and Alyssa Summers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Down walks into a straight right hand from Tucker.
Tucker tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Down was well out of range. Poor timing from Tucker.
Down shoots and misses
and Tucker counters with a nice body shot.
Tucker misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Down is trying hard to land a takedown here. Tucker sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

and Tucker counters with a stiff right hand.
It looks like Takeyou Down has been cut.

Tucker throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Down dives in and grabs Tucker's left leg, looking for a takedown. Tucker pushes down on Down's head and hops out.

Tucker throws a series of punches but Down moves out of range.

Tucker throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Down.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Down shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.

Down seems to be working for a kimura but Tucker defends the submission attempt.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Tucker wants to get back to his feet.
Down missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
Well, if Down is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Down has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Down thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Down sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Tucker defending well though.

Down is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Down wants to take a breather but Tucker is having none of it.
Down stops Tucker from getting back to his feet.
Down with the ground and pound but Tucker uses the opportunity to regain guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Down slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Down works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
Down misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

Down advances to full mount.
Tucker avoids a series of strikes thrown by Down.
Down fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

Down wants to finish this one by submission but Tucker is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Down.
Takeyou Down has got the better of the ground game so far.
Down misses with a head shot.
Tucker in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Down unloads with some shots from mount but Tucker bucks and avoids them well.
Down goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Tucker is on top in guard.
Down has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Tucker is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Down.
Down is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Down wants to improve his position but Tucker is controlling well.
Down gets back to full guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Takeyou Down showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

and Tucker counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Down shoots for a double leg takedown but Tucker sprawls well. He's pushed Down's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Tucker throws a nice looking combination but Down bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Down shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Tucker but Tucker pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Down tries to close the distance and clinch but Tucker swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Down is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Tucker lands with a cross.

Tucker smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Tucker misses with a jab, cross combination.
Tucker leaves Down with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Down tries to score a power double leg takedown but Tucker sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Down somewhat.

Tucker looks to throw the jab but Down is out of range.
Tucker misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Down looking to score a takedown here. Tucker is defending well but Down drives through and ends up in Tucker's guard.
Down passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Down in side control, throwing shots but Tucker defends.
Down postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Down wants to lay and pray for a moment but Tucker keeps working.
Down might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Tucker kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
And that's the end of the fight!
I would just about give that final round to Takeyou Down.
I think Down has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
