Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Fernando Ramos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Leroy Carter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Fernando Ramos! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Leroy Carter! The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Igor Prikhodko and Illya Tyunina.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Carter fails in his attempt to clinch. Carter tries for a takedown but Ramos sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Carter circles away from the clinch attempt.
Ramos pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Carter closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Carter wants to take the fight to the mat but Ramos manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. Ramos breaks the clinch.
Carter closes the distance and clinches. Ramos's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Carter is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Carter feints and as Ramos raises his hands in defense, Carter changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Ramos working a defensive guard here.
Ramos keeping full guard, as Carter tries to pass. Ramos might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Ramos can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Carter controls the pace.
That's one minute gone in the round. Carter gets to his feet - Ramos follows without any prompting. Nice body kick there by Ramos. Ramos fakes the leg kick and cracks Carter in the body. Ramos moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Carter shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Ramos's guard. Carter looks gassed! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Carter advances to half guard. Carter seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Carter uses his free foot to push down on Ramos's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Ramos.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Carter controlling the position easily from mount. Ramos has left one of his arms exposed and Carter doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Ramos screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:34 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Leroy Carter! Leroy Carter bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
