3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, The Boru! The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Aleksandr Martynov and Dmitry Maklakov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Filipowicz has his takedown stuffed so Boru counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Boru slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Filipowicz keeping moving, preventing Boru from controlling successfully. Boru slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Filipowicz is trying to keep Boru in close.
The Boru has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Filipowicz tries to score a power double leg takedown but Boru sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Filipowicz somewhat. Filipowicz fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Borys Filipowicz. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Filipowicz moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. Filipowicz looks to land a combination but Boru avoids it well. Filipowicz gets a takedown into half guard. Filipowicz not landing any meaningful shots this time. Filipowicz is looking to take a break and control but Boru is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Boru is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Filipowicz's half guard. Boru trying to pass the guard but Filipowicz defending well. That's three minutes gone in the round. Boru is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Filipowicz! Filipowicz is breathing heavily. Boru can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Filipowicz is looking to escape. Filipowicz is working to get back to half guard.
Boru has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Filipowicz's face.

Filipowicz sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though. Filipowicz looking for submissions off his back. Boru is nestled in close to Filipowicz, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Boru scoring with strikes to the body and head. Boru slips a nice elbow through Filipowicz's hands, connecting with Filipowicz's forehead. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
The Boru dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Boru looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Filipowicz! Filipowicz in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. Boru looking to control and managing it successfully. Filipowicz tries to hold on but Boru pushes him away. Filipowicz bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! Boru pushes Filipowicz off and gets back to his feet.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Filipowicz stuffs the takedown.

Boru got a little sloppy there for a moment and Filipowicz has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Boru has managed to get both his arms back between Filipowicz's legs - danger averted. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Boru slips nicely into half guard. Filipowicz is staying active underneath Boru, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Boru wants to pass to mount but Filipowicz is defending the position. Boru not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Filipowicz is looking for a sweep. Boru is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Boru is looking to advance position but Filipowicz won't allow it. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Boru is looking to take a break and control but Filipowicz is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Filipowicz is trying to maintain the position but Boru is very close to passing his half guard. Filipowicz won't allow Boru to pass to mount. Boru thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Filipowicz's head. Boru wants to pass the guard but Filipowicz is defending well.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Nice takedown defense from Filipowicz. No joy for Boru on that attempt.

Boru is looking to work some ground and pound but Filipowicz has wrist control. Filipowicz wants to sweep here but Boru controlling him for the moment. Boru stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Filipowicz swivels though and keeps the full guard. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Boru is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
The Boru showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!
Boru keeps the fight on the outside. Boru leaves Filipowicz with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Filipowicz misses with a series of wild punches.

Boru is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Boru stopping the sweep attempt from Filipowicz. Boru throws a big elbow that misses. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Boru postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Boru landing with the ground and pound. Boru decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Boru misses with a series of wild punches.
Filipowicz misses with a takedown attempt - Boru sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Boru feints and as Filipowicz raises his hands in defense, Boru changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Filipowicz is trying to keep Boru in close.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Boru is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Filipowicz lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Boru! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Filipowicz moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Boru has worked his arm free - good work by Boru!
Boru throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done! Boru shoots in but Filipowicz avoids the takedown attempt easily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Boru drives through with a takedown into guard. Boru wants to control from the top but Filipowicz keeps moving. Boru is sitting in close to Filipowicz's body. Filipowicz has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Boru is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Boru is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Filipowicz.
