Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between John Williams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dexter Fielding (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, John Williams! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Dexter Fielding! The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Alexandre Firmino and Paulo Santos.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fielding keeps the fight on the outside. Fielding misses with a two punch combination.
Williams tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Fielding manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Fielding keeps the fight on the outside. Fielding closes the distance and clinches. Fielding blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Fielding has clasped his hands together around Williams's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done. Fielding tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Fielding has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Williams sneaks back into half guard. Williams is trying to stand up here but Fielding is controlling him well. Fielding is looking for a kimura here.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fielding is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Williams doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Fielding. Fielding looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Williams is refusing to be controlled, as Fielding sits in half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Fielding seems to be looking for submissions.

Fielding is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Williams defends it well. Fielding is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Williams is refusing to be controlled, as Fielding sits in half guard. Fielding is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! Williams working to try and regain half guard.
Fielding tries to control but Williams wriggling away. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Fielding misses with a left hand and Williams counters with a big head kick but Fielding shrugs it off. Fielding lands a leg kick that knocks Williams off balance momentarily. Williams wants to clinch up but Fielding keeps it at a distance. Williams is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Williams tries to close the distance and clinch but Fielding swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fielding gets a takedown into half guard. Fielding thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Williams might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Fielding wants to free his trapped foot but Williams is holding on for dear life with his legs. Williams avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Fielding. Williams is trying to stand.
Fielding seems to be looking for submissions.
Fielding is trying to control. Williams wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Williams tries to kick Fielding off but Fielding keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Williams is defending against the submission attempts here by Fielding.
Fielding looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Fielding passes to side control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Fielding tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Fielding has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Fielding has hold of Williams's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Williams seems comfortable defending it but Fielding has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Williams is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Williams is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Fielding couldn't care less - he's delighted!
