The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nicolas tries to clinch but Lewis is having none of it.

and Nicolas counters with a leg kick then a big left hand that sends Lewis down! Nicolas is looking to finish but Lewis is intelligently defending himself.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Nicolas is looking to stand up but Lewis won't let him.
Lewis is working an open guard so Nicolas takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Nicolas closes the distance and lands a crisp combination that knocks Lewis out cold! Lewis corner are devastated, head in hands behind our commentary position. Poor guys.
