Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Gustavo Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Falcao Chuteboxe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Falcao Chuteboxe is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Thiago Cunha and Daniel Cesar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie is looking to clinch but Chuteboxe is avoiding it.
Gracie closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Chuteboxe quickly recovers to half guard.
Gracie controlling the pace.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Chuteboxe looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
Chuteboxe has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Gracie is working away from the top position though.
Chuteboxe is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Gracie pulls his head out easily.
Chuteboxe tries to roll over but Gracie keeps him under control.
Still in half guard, Gracie seems content to control.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Gustavo Gracie.
Chuteboxe fails with the takedown
and Gracie counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Chuteboxe!
Gracie tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Chuteboxe can't escape the position.
Gracie misses with a head shot.
Gracie takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Chuteboxe tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Gracie throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
Chuteboxe is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

and Gracie holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Gracie has Chuteboxe pressed up against the ropes. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Gracie pulls back from the ropes and twists to the side, sending Chuteboxe tumbling to the mat - Gracie dives into Chuteboxe's guard.

Chuteboxe has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Gracie should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Chuteboxe has tightened it up now! Gracie should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
