The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Illya Tyunina and Vladimir Khabensky.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A punch combination from Diaz misses.
Diaz looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Diaz throws a nice looking combination but Fuentes bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Diaz throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Fuentes counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Diaz is breathing heavily.
Fuentes drops back looking for a leg! Diaz is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Diaz manages to kick Fuentes off! Fuentes jumps back into Diaz's guard.
Fuentes drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Fuentes seems to have locked his on tight now - Diaz screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Fuentes, as he picks up the win!
