Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jack Fadden (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Rolla (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fadden's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, From Hell by Faces Of Mars. On his way into the cage it seems that Jack Fadden has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Jack Fadden seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rolla has Fadden up against the cage in a clinch.
Rolla misses with a short punch on the inside. Fadden dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the cage. Rolla is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Fadden to keep the fight standing. Rolla is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Fadden pulls him back up using the underhooks. A bit of stalling here from Fadden.
Rolla manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Rolla throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
Rolla is working an open guard so Fadden takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Fadden scores with a punch to the head. Rolla looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Fadden punching from the bottom.
Fadden wants to improve his position but Rolla is controlling well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rolla trying to control the action but Fadden is working from the bottom. Fadden keeping control of the leg, stopping his opponent passing to mount. Fadden looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Rolla is stalling here. Fadden is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Rolla seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Fadden has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Fadden working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fadden misses with an attempted head punch from side control. Rolla is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Rolla wants to control but Fadden is keeping busy and won't allow it. Fadden is trying to control the action in half guard but Rolla is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Fadden thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Rolla's head. Rolla wants to improve his position but Fadden is controlling well.
Fadden is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Fadden prevents Rolla from improving his position. Rolla actively working from the bottom here. Rolla moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fadden wants to pass the guard but Rolla is keeping the position. Fadden postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Rolla is trying to keep Fadden in close.
Rolla has momentary wrist control but Fadden slips an elbow through the middle. Rolla is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Fadden landing with the ground and pound. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Rolla avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Rolla trying to control the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Fadden lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Fadden stands up from guard. Let's bang! Rolla shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Jack Fadden has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mike Rolla. Rolla shoots in for a double leg but Fadden sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Fadden drops Rolla with a beautiful combination! Rolla stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Fadden is looking for the KO!
Rolla is rocked!
It looks like Mike Rolla has been cut. Fadden drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Rolla is still in real trouble! Can Fadden finish him? Fadden is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Rolla is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Rolla has escaped and now he's on top! Rolla seems to have recovered his senses. Fadden bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Rolla's guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jack Fadden dominated that round. The cut man is working on Mike Rolla's cut. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Rolla swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Fadden counters with a shoot takedown. Rolla fights it but they end up in guard. Fadden decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Rolla shoots in looking for a takedown. Fadden tries to sprawl out of it but Rolla keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Fadden manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Fadden shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Rolla manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Fadden advances position into side control! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Fadden cracks Rolla with a big elbow. Rolla wants to control but Fadden postures up. Fadden landing with strikes to the head and body from side control. Rolla is trying to get back to half guard. Fadden stands up and we're back to a striking position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fadden shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Rolla pinned against the cage. Rolla gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Jack Fadden seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Fadden drives through and clinches with Rolla against the cage.
A battle for position here, against the cage. Fadden has hold of one of Rolla's legs. Rolla is fighting the takedown attempt but Fadden gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard. Rolla wants to sweep here but Fadden controlling him for the moment. Fadden lands a couple of elbows. Fadden with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Fadden has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fadden is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Fadden gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Fadden feints and as Rolla raises his hands in defense, Fadden changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Rolla looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Rolla thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage. Fadden gets to his feet. Rolla looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Fadden fails with the takedown. Fadden moves into range and clinches up with Rolla. Rolla tries to stall but Fadden uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rolla wants to break the clinch but can't.

Fadden scores a takedown into full mount! Fadden sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Rolla tries to hold on but Fadden postures up. Rolla is looking to get to half guard. Fadden pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. Fadden unloading with bombs!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Rolla in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. Fadden is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Rolla can do to turn this around? The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Fadden moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Rolla has worked his arm free - good work by Rolla!
Rolla wants to get back to his feet. Fadden sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Rolla is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Rolla is looking for a sweep. Rolla holds on tight, trying to prevent any damage. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Rolla pushes Fadden away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Fadden gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Rolla is breathing heavily. Rolla tries to control the position but he's not in luck - Fadden easily slips into full mount! Fadden unloading with bombs! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jack Fadden dominated that second round. The cut man is working on Mike Rolla's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

Rolla shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Fadden but Fadden pushes him off and we're back to square one. Jack Fadden is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Rolla fails with the takedown. Fadden gets a takedown into half guard. Rolla is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Fadden scores with a couple of nice shots. Fadden is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Rolla tries to kick Fadden off but Fadden keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fadden is looking to advance position but Rolla won't allow it. Fadden throwing shots but Rolla is blocking nicely. Fadden tries to pass to full mount but Rolla defends it. Rolla trying to control but Fadden postures up.
Jack Fadden overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Fadden seems to be looking for submissions.
Fadden decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet. Rolla will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Jack Fadden has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mike Rolla. Fadden connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Rolla momentarily.
Horrible takedown by Rolla or perhaps it was just good defense by Fadden which made him look bad. Rolla takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Fadden drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Fadden swings around for an armbar but Rolla sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Fadden's guard. Rolla must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Rolla is looking to work some ground and pound but Fadden has wrist control. Fadden has his foot on Rolla's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Rolla works his way back into a safe position though. Rolla trying to control but Fadden is working from the bottom. Rolla stands up and waves to Fadden to follow him. Rolla swings and misses with a hook to the body.

A head kick misses from Rolla. Nice sprawl there from Rolla as Fadden shoots in. Fadden manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Rolla on his heels. He'll look to pass Rolla's guard now, I'm sure. Fadden trying to control the position from guard on top but Rolla is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Rolla keeping full guard, as Fadden tries to pass. Fadden passes Rolla's left leg - he's now in half guard. Jack Fadden is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Mike Rolla has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. A lull in the action here.
