Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Kade Kaiser!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, George Rex!
The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Eddie Farnsworth and Jonathan Paton.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rex looks to clinch
and Kaiser counters with a three punch combo that has Rex backing up. Rex nods at Kaiser to acknowledge the strikes.
Rex throws a right and a left that both miss.
George Rex seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Rex tries to bum rush Kaiser with a series of wild strikes but Kaiser uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Oooooh!!! Rex has knocked Kaiser down with a huge combo! Rex steps away and waves a wobbly Kaiser back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!


Kaiser is rocked!


It looks like Kade Kaiser has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Kaiser pushes Rex up against the cage in a clinch.
Oh Kaiser is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Kaiser's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Rex tries to clinch but Kaiser moves away
and Kaiser counters with an outside leg kick.
Kaiser seems to have got his legs back now.
Rex wants to clinch but Kaiser slips to the side

and Kaiser counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Rex's guard now.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Kaiser stands and steps away. Rex gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Kaiser avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Kaiser lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Rex circles away quickly and effectively.

and Kaiser counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Kaiser slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Kaiser stands up from Rex's guard - Kaiser perhaps looking for a knockout.
Rex closes the distance but Kaiser moves to the side

and Kaiser counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Kaiser.

Kaiser has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Rex is trying to keep an underhook but Kaiser manages to get the takedown into half guard.

Kaiser seems to be working for a kimura but Rex defends the submission attempt.

Rex leaves Kaiser with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Rex feints a jab promting Kaiser to slip. Rex then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Kaiser slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Kaiser is breathing heavily.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
The fight stays on the outside here - Rex looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
George Rex is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Kaiser misses with a takedown attempt - Rex sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Kaiser misses with a few strikes there.
Rex tries a head kick but it misses.
Rex is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Rex throws a head kick that misses.
Kaiser could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Rex throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.

Rex throws a series of punches but Kaiser avoids them all with ease.
Rex throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.

Rex lands a big head kick that sends Kaiser tumbling to the mat! Rex takes a step backwards and waves Kaiser back to his feet - he wants the finish!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Rex tries to clinch but Kaiser moves out of range.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Kaiser.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Rex lands a damaging elbow.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

and Kaiser counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Rex lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!
Kaiser using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Rex has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

George Rex seems to be working more effectively in the clinch in the fight so far.
Rex pushes off an throws an elbow but Kaiser leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.

Kaiser is trying to drag Rex to the mat but Rex just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Kaiser tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Rex creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Kaiser's defenses.
Kaiser throws an elbow but it misses.
Rex lands a knee to the head.

Both fighters working to control the clinch.
Rex gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
Rex throws a knee to the head but misses.
Kaiser jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Rex walks away with a smile on his face. Kaiser gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kade Kaiser. That's going to take a lot out of him.

and Kaiser counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Rex wants to clinch.
Kaiser circles away from the clinch attempt.
Kaiser throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Rex's waist but Rex gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Kaiser off to one side.

Rex looking to throw knees to the head but Kaiser is blocking nicely.

Kaiser is trying to break the clinch but Rex has him pressed against the cage.

Rex unloads a knee to the mid-section. Kaiser lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.

Kaiser pulls Rex into guard.

Kaiser is looking to sinch up a triangle. Rex throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Kaiser's body to avoid the submission. Kaiser has instead reached around Rex's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Kaiser arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:58 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Kade Kaiser!
