The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Chris Edwards and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vespa shoots in but no luck this time.
Vespa looks to land a right hand but Schlimo moved out of range.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Vespa, as that shot connected.
Vespa throws a leg kick but Schlimo checks it.
Schlimo tries for a takedown but Vespa circles away easily
and Vespa counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Schlimo shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Vespa's guard.
Vespa looking to control.
Vespa wants to stand and escape but Schlimo is having none of it.
Schlimo wants to pass the guard but Vespa is keeping the position.
Vespa wants to stand up but Schlimo is controlling him.
Schlimo trying to control but Vespa is working from the bottom.

Vespa wants to stand but Schlimo is controlling the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Schlimo stands and throws Vespa's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Vespa is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Schlimo scores with a takedown into Vespa's guard.
Schlimo wants to control from the top but Vespa keeps moving.
Vespa wants to stand but Schlimo is controlling the position.
Vespa looks gassed!
Vespa is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Schlimo is looking to work some ground and pound but Vespa has wrist control.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Schlimo goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Vespa rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Schlimo's guard! Nice work there by Vespa!
Schlimo has his foot on Vespa's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Vespa works his way back into a safe position though.
Vespa wanted to stand there but Schlimo had control of the position.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Schlimo manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Schlimo thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage.
Schlimo fails to take his opponent's back.
Schlimo thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!
Vespa is trying to escape the mount.
Schlimo is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Vespa is surviving well by controlling Schlimo's body position as best he can.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Schlimo moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Vespa has worked his arm free - good work by Vespa!
Schlimo is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Vespa knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Schlimo in side control, throwing shots but Vespa defends.
Schlimo is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Vespa is trying to escape and Schlimo transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Vespa is forced to tap! Nice work there by Schlimo! Very nice indeed!
