Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Chingis Chan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kevin Adams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Adams's choice of entrance music: Shake it. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Chingis Chan! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Kevin Adams! The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, James Atkins and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A lazy left from Chan finds it's target. Chan fails with an attempt to clinch.
Adams tries a head kick but it misses.
Chan clinches up against the cage. Chan misses with a knee to the head. Adams is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Adams unloads a knee to the mid-section. Chan lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh. Adams prevents Chan from breaking the clinch. Adams jumps into guard, dragging Chan to the mat.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Chan controls from within his opponent's guard. Adams wants to stand but Chan is controlling the position. Adams wants to sweep but no luck. Adams should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Adams is trying to control the position but Chan postures up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Chan seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Adams doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Chan is looking to stand up but Adams won't let him.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Adams forces Chan back against the cage and clinches. Adams has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Chan clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Adams working for a RNC but it's not happening just yet. Chan looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Chan manages to reverse the position and now he's in Adams's guard. Nice work there by Chan.
Adams looking for a guillotine here but Chan defends easily.
Chan works a leg free and moves into half guard. Adams looks gassed! Adams is trying to stand up here but Chan is controlling him well.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Chan is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Chan has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Chan content just to control the position here. Adams is trying to escape the mount.
Chan controlling from mount. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Kevin Adams will probably get the nod. That's time! Back to the action!
Adams swats away the attempt to clinch by Chan. Adams throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Chan's waist but Chan gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Adams off to one side. Adams tries to clinch but Chan moves away and Chan counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Chan. Adams escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Chan tries to clinch but Adams moves out of range. Chan clinches up with Adams and pushes him back against the cage. Adams is looking to control Chan's arms but Chan gets an underhook and turns him. Now Adams has his back to the cage. Chan lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Adams backwards. Chan breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Adams pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Chan takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Chan tries to clinch up. Adams is breathing heavily. Chan has Adams up against the cage in a clinch.
Adams takes an elbow to the temple.
It looks like Kevin Adams has been cut. Chan turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Chan manages to end up in side control.
That's one minute gone in the round. A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet. Chan is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Adams has escaped the position, nice work there. Adams is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Adams wants to improve his position but Chan is controlling well.
Chan stalling. Chan's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Chan stands up and beckons Adams to join him on the feet. Chingis Chan is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Chan wants to clinch. Chan clinches with his opponent.
Adams's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! Chan manages to break the clinch.
Chan closes the distance and clinches.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Chan prevents Adams from breaking the clinch. Adams tries to break the clinch but Chan is controlling the position. Chan breaks the clinch.
Chan scores with a leg kick.
Chan moves into the clinch successfully.
A left hand lands to the body for Chan.
Adams tries for a takedown but Chan manages to get underhooks.
Adams avoiding damage as Chan throws knees to the body.
Chan lands a nice elbow from the clinch. Chan misses with a knee to the head. Adams escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
A leg kick checked by Adams. Adams avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Adams takes a body punch but keeps moving. Chan scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Adams misses with a takedown and Chan holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Chingis Chan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kevin Adams. Chan fails to land with a short punch on the inside.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Adams wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Chan has him pressed against the cage. Adams has had enough of the clinch but Chan keeps him there for the moment. Adams escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Adams gets the takedown into side control. Adams trying to control the position but Chan is working away. Chan takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better. Adams tries for a kimura but Chan is defending well. Adams decides to stand up, so the ref orders Chan to his feet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Chingis Chan dominated that second round. The cut man is working on Kevin Adams's cut. That's time! Chan's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!
Chan doesn't manage to clinch there - Adams circles away.
Chan looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Adams! Chan tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Adams gets back to half guard. Chan throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Adams tries to kick Chan off but Chan keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Chan in particular looking to stall. Adams moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Adams has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Chan can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Chan prevents Adams from getting back to his feet. Chingis Chan overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Adams looking for a sweep. Not yet Adams, not yet. Adams wants to stand and escape but Chan is having none of it. Adams had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Chan is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Adams Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Chan's back instead. Adams is not going to allow Chan to sit and survive in this position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Adams has good solid back control here. Adams is persistently looking for the submission but Chan is defending it well.
Chan wants to escape the position but for the time being he's just trying to control the pace.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Adams is looking to control Chan but Chan is wriggling around and keeping busy. Chan turns into Adams and is now in his guard.
Chan slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Chan is looking to stand up but Adams won't let him. Adams is trying to control the position but Chan postures up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Chan sitting in guard, not really doing much. Adams is trying to control the position but Chan postures up. Chan seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Chan accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Chan tries to free his leg and advance position but Adams is retaining full guard.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Chingis Chan. Well Chan has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win...
