Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Dave Dameshek (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sam Hitz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Dave Dameshek! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
18 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Sam Hitz! The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Seu Braga and Emerson Jorge.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dameshek shoots in for a double leg but Hitz sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Dameshek throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Hitz throws a hook but Dameshek blocks it. A head kick misses from Hitz. Hitz stuffs the takedown. Hitz misses with a straight right. Hitz swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Hitz stalks Dameshek and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Dameshek's face. Dameshek staggers backwards, shaken. Dameshek throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Hitz tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Dameshek is in Hitz's guard. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Dameshek seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Dameshek trying to control but Hitz is working from the bottom. Dameshek pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Hitz is keeping the position for now.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dameshek preventing the sweep. Dameshek pushes down on Hitz's leg and manages to get into half guard. Dameshek wants to pass the guard but Hitz is defending well. Hitz trying to control here.
Dameshek is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Hitz is staying active underneath Dameshek, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dameshek uses his free foot to push down on Hitz's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Hitz. Dameshek moves to back control. Dameshek looking for the RNC. Dameshek working for a choke but Hitz is defending well. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Hitz can't escape the position.
Hitz is trying to roll into a better position but Dameshek has get a rear naked choke and Hitz is forced to tap out! This one is allllll over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Dave Dameshek! During a confident post fight interview, Dave Dameshek thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
