Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Ference Gabor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kim Sung il (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gabor comes to the cage accompanied by Vendetta. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Sung il accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Sung il wants to control from the top but Gabor keeps moving.
Sung il might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Gabor kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Gabor wants to sweep but no luck.
Kim Sung il has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Sung il bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Gabor tries to buck Sung il off but Sung il is having none of it.
Sung il tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Sung il has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
A lull in the action here as Sung il stalls from top position.

Gabor is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Sung il's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Gabor has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Sung il can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Sung il in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Gabor tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Sung il!
