2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Marcelo Londres! The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Thiago Cunha and Alexandre Firmino.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dos Santos gets caught flat footed, as Londres shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Dos Santos preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Dos Santos pushes Londres off and gets back to his feet.
Dos Santos feints a jab promting Londres to slip. Dos Santos then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Londres slips again and ducks right into an uppercut. Londres closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Dos Santos quickly recovers to half guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Dos Santos is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Dos Santos tries to kick Londres off but Londres keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Dos Santos keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up. Dos Santos is trying to escape the mount.
Londres lands a big shot there that rocks Dos Santos but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Londres cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Dos Santos is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Londres is in the full mount, landing strikes. Londres looking to control but Dos Santos is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Londres punishing his opponent with strikes. Londres unloading with bombs! The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Londres working away from the top, dropping strikes. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Londres connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Londres breaks from Dos Santos's wrist control and lands an elbow. Londres is in the full mount, landing strikes. Londres postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Dos Santos looks a forlorn figure.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Marcelo Londres dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
A slapping leg kick lands for Dos Santos.
Londres closes the distance and clinches up with Dos Santos, looking for a takedown. Londres pushes Dos Santos against the ropes but Dos Santos circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Dos Santos lands with an uppercut that bounces Londres off the ropes and back into range. Londres takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Dos Santos with a body punch. A glancing blow. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Londres gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Dos Santos gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Londres is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:22 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Victor Dos Santos! A relieved looking Victor Dos Santos thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
