PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Temujin Black (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roger Schwarzeneg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Black's entrance music is Dropkick murphys - drink and fight. A fine choice. Roger Schwarzeneg told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Black walks forward, straight into a front kick from Schwarzeneg.
Black stuffs the takedown.

Schwarzeneg closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Schwarzeneg lands in his opponent's guard.
Schwarzeneg wants to control from the top but Black keeps moving.

Black bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Schwarzeneg's guard.

Black stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Schwarzeneg swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Black drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Black jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Schwarzeneg is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Black defends well.
Schwarzeneg is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Schwarzeneg decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

The crowd cheers as Black lands an impressive looking overhand right. Schwarzeneg doesn't seem phased though.

Black throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Schwarzeneg on the side of the head.

Temujin Black has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Roger Schwarzeneg.
Schwarzeneg dives in and grabs Black's left leg, looking for a takedown. Black pushes down on Schwarzeneg's head and hops out.

Black escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Schwarzeneg gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Schwarzeneg shoots in looking for a takedown but Black manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Schwarzeneg's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Schwarzeneg looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Black is fending him off so far but Schwarzeneg persists. Nope, Black circles away and we're back to standing.

Black softens up his opponent with a couple of shots there and then CRACK! One massive shot lands there and Schwarzeneg is out cold! Black jumps to his feet and celebrates on the cage with the fans, who are, quite frankly, going absolutely mental!

A relieved looking Temujin Black thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
