Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Max Dillan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rainbow Trout (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dillan comes to the cage accompanied by Kick Ass. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 20 - 15 - 0, fighting out of New York, Max Dillan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Rainbow Trout!
The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Chad Campbell and Lou da Vinci.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Trout misses with a head kick.
Dillan avoids the head kick by Trout.
Dillan connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Trout momentarily.
A good leg kick by Trout.
Trout avoids the body shot from Dillan.
Trout throws a shot to the body.
Trout misses with a low kick.
Dillan swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Trout counters with a good, hard body kick but Dillan shrugs it off.

Trout has Dillan up against the cage in a clinch.
Dillan trying to control the position but instead, Trout has worked for underhooks and has pushed Dillan into the cage.
Dillan jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Trout walks away with a smile on his face. Dillan gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Dillan looks to land a combination but Trout avoids it well.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Dillan swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Rainbow Trout is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Trout tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Dillan is able to avoid easily.
Trout lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Trout looks to land a body kick but Dillan moved away.
Trout misses with a low kick.
Trout tries to clinch up but Dillan circles away and keeps his distance.
Dillan lands a nice hook to Trout's body. Trout takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
A big left from Dillan misses.
Trout is looking to slow Dillan down with leg kicks.

Dillan closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Trout quickly recovers to half guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Trout pushes Dillan off looking to stand but Dillan dives back in and keeps control.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Trout tries to roll over but Dillan keeps him under control.

Dillan working over Trout with some ground and pound. Trout looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
Trout has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Dillan is working away from the top position though.
Dillan throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Dillan works his way into full mount!
Trout is in a horrible position here. Dillan smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Dillan cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Dillan won't let Trout get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.
Trout wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Dillan.
Dillan is in the full mount, landing strikes.

This has been an exciting period of action!
BOOM! Dillan connects with a massive shot to the dome!

Dillan is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Trout has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Dillan has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Dillan lands a big shot there that rocks Trout but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

Dillan wants to control the pace but Trout is squirming around nicely.
Dillan throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Trout because Dillan loaded up on that one.
Dillan scores with a couple of good head shots there.

Trout is working to get back to half guard.
Dillan working the ground and pound effectively.
Dillan tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Dillan connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Dillan breaks from Trout's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Dillan trying to control but Trout is having none of it.
The referee warns Trout that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Max Dillan dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Trout tries to close the distance and clinch up but Dillan swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Dillan misses with a wild combination.
Trout is looking to slow Dillan down with leg kicks.
Trout throws a front kick that sends Dillan stumbling back into the cage.
Dillan takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
A head kick misses from Trout.
Dillan smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Dillan misses with a straight left.
Trout tries to move into range but Dillan moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Dillan throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Dillan on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Trout. Trout obviously looking to wear him down.
Dillan is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Trout can do to turn this around?
Dillan sizes up Trout with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Trout throws a front kick that sends Dillan stumbling back into the cage.
Dillan throws a poor cross that misses
and Trout counters with a flying knee. Nice.
Trout tries to close the distance and clinch but Dillan swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Trout dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Dillan. That did some damage!

Dillan shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Trout bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Dillan swings for the body but Trout moves out of range.
Trout connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Trout ducks right into an uppercut from Dillan.
A big right from Trout misses.
Trout looks to land a body kick but Dillan moved away.
Trout swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Dillan.
Dillan gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Trout tries a low kick but Dillan avoids it.

Trout tries to close the distance and clinch up but Dillan swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Dillan is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Trout to keep the fight standing.

Trout tries to stand but Dillan is controlling from the bottom.

Trout stands and steps away. Dillan gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Dillan is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.

Dillan misses with a takedown attempt - Trout sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Max Dillan. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Trout throws a body kick that misses.
Trout lands a head shot.
Trout throws a sloppy head kick and Dillan moves out of range easily.
Trout keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Trout.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Rainbow Trout showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Dillan is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Trout.

Trout tries to land a front kick but Dillan steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

Dillan lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Dillan throws a right hand that Trout ducks under and follows up with a left that Trout also avoids with ease.

Dillan throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Trout.

Dillan chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Trout can pounce on him.

Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Trout throws a sloppy head kick and Dillan moves out of range easily.

Trout lands a nice looking kick to the body. Dillan takes a step back to recover.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Rainbow Trout comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Trout has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
