Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between James Pardo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tao Ching (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for James Pardo has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, James Pardo! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tao Ching! The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Stewart Dunkirk and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ching circles away from the clinch attempt.
Ching checks the leg kick nicely there.
Ching fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Pardo sprawls well initially but Ching persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Ching seems to be working for a kimura but Pardo defends the submission attempt. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Let's hope that Ching has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pardo trying to control from the bottom.
Ching with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Tao Ching. Pardo scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Ching wants to control but Pardo postures up. Ching is looking for a sweep. Pardo wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Ching, who protects the arm well. Ching wants to control but Pardo postures up. Ching manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Pardo is breathing heavily. Ching controlling the pace.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Tao Ching. Pardo has his takedown stuffed and Ching counters with a takedown into side control. Ching working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Ching taking a breather here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ching is chipping away with strikes.
Pardo manages to get back to half guard. Ching performing his best blanket impression for a moment. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tao Ching dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Pardo fails in his attempt to clinch. Pardo with a poor takedown and Ching decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Pardo's guard. Pardo pushes a forearm under Ching's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Ching is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:55 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). James Pardo!
