The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mannetosen lands a slapping body shot.

Mannetosen seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Mannetosen has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!
Mendes has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Mannetosen.
Mannetosen lands with a shot to the body.
Mendes takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Mannetosen connects with an inside leg kick.
Mendes on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Mannetosen thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Mendes if he has to take too many more of those.
Mannetosen cracks Mendes with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Mendes looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Mannetosen finish him?
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Mendes takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Mannetosen.
A slapping body kick lands there for Mannetosen.
Mendes takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
Mendes takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Mendes ducks straight into an uppercut from Mannetosen and tumbles to the canvas! It’s a flash knockdown though - Mendes manages to regain guard straight away.
Mannetosen forces his way into half guard.
Mannetosen passes the guard and advances to mount!

Mannetosen loads up with a big shot that hurts Mendes! He's pulled Mannetosen in close but Mannetosen has postured up and lands more strikes. Can Mendes survive? More strikes from Mannetosen and Mendes is out! The ref jumps in to save him! Brutal ground and pound!
