Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Edmundo Jr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paulo Antonio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Antonio shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Antonio showed some decent athleticism there.

Jr closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Jr is nestled in close to Antonio, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Paulo Antonio showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Jr feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
