The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Daniel Bishop and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Schafer throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Strikes pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Schafer closes the distance and pushes Strikes back into the cage.
Schafer lands a good knee to the midsection. Strikes won't want to take too many of those.
Schafer tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Strikes avoids it.
Strikes tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
The pace really dropping off here, momentarily.
