Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Nikitos Survalis! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Terry Yankiza! The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Shigeki Sano and Yukihiro Shimada.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Yankiza scores with a takedown into Survalis's guard. Yankiza pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Survalis is keeping the position for now. Yankiza trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Survalis manages to land a sweep and now he's on top! Yankiza is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Survalis sitting in guard, not really doing much. Yankiza is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Yankiza controlling the position.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Terry Yankiza hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Survalis misses with a takedown and Yankiza makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. Yankiza fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Survalis, pushing him back against the cage. Survalis jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Yankiza walks away with a smile on his face. Survalis gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Survalis with a lazy takedown attempt and Yankiza counters with a nice double leg into half guard. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Nikitos Survalis. That's going to take a lot out of him. Yankiza slows the pace down in half guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Terry Yankiza was stalling too much, according to the referee. Yankiza displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Survalis. Yankiza misses with a straight left. Survalis takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Survalis is trying hard to land a takedown here. Yankiza sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Survalis has his takedown stuffed and Yankiza counters with a nice double leg into guard. Survalis is breathing heavily. Yankiza postures up and lands a big shot to Survalis's brow. Yankiza seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Yankiza lands a couple of elbows. Survalis can't keep his opponent in guard - Yankiza advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Yankiza is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Survalis defends it well. Yankiza works his way into side control. Yankiza working the head and body with strikes.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Survalis is being controlled here. Survalis is trying to get back to his feet. Yankiza advances nicely into full mount. Survalis working to try and regain half guard.
Yankiza landing strikes from the mount and Survalis is in trouble! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Yankiza takes his opponent's back. Perhaps a chance to lock up a rear naked choke here.
Yankiza really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for Survalis. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

No luck for Survalis with that takedown attempt. Survalis gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Yankiza makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. Yankiza closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Survalis to the mat! Survalis manages to get full guard. Yankiza showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Yankiza decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Survalis, up you get! Nikitos Survalis is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Yankiza dives in and scores a takedown into Survalis's guard. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Yankiza is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Yankiza throwing strikes but missing. Yankiza showing good wrestling skills to control the position. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Terry Yankiza. Survalis fails with the takedown. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Nikitos Survalis. Yankiza looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Survalis with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. This has been an exciting period of action! Still in half guard, Yankiza seems content to control. Survalis is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Yankiza jumps into side control! Yankiza decides to stand up, so the ref orders Survalis to his feet. Yankiza closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Survalis to the mat! Survalis manages to get full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Yankiza is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Yankiza postures up and lands a big shot to Survalis's brow. Yankiza is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Survalis is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Yankiza content to stall in guard here. Survalis is looking to stand up but Yankiza isn't so interested in that idea.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Yankiza gets to his feet - Survalis follows without any prompting. Survalis doesn't succeed with the takedown and Yankiza counters with a body kick. Survalis fails with the takedown and Yankiza moves into the clinch. Yankiza breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Yankiza closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Survalis tries to improve position but can't. Yankiza decides to stand back up. Yankiza steps back and let's Survalis get back to his feet. Yankiza closes the distance and clinches. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Terry Yankiza showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Nikitos Survalis's cut. That's time! Survalis's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!
Yankiza scores with a head kick. Survalis tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time. Yankiza is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Survalis's half guard. Survalis is trying to get back to full guard. Survalis trying to hold on to Yankiza's head to control him but Yankiza postures up.
Yankiza is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Survalis has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Yankiza is working away from the top position though. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Yankiza wants to pass the guard but Survalis is defending well.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Survalis tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Yankiza makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Survalis really felt that one!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Yankiza decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Survalis is trying to maintain the position but Yankiza is very close to passing his half guard. Yankiza uses his free foot to push down on Survalis's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Survalis. Terry Yankiza has got the better of the ground game so far. Yankiza looking to control and managing it successfully. Survalis squirming around on the bottom, looking to escape.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Survalis taking shots to the head. Yankiza is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Survalis has managed to escape the submission attempt.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Yankiza avoids the attempt from Survalis to control. Yankiza controlling from mount. Yankiza swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Survalis is now in Yankiza's guard. A big mistake from Yankiza there, giving up the dominant position! The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Survalis trying to control but Yankiza is working from the bottom.
And that's the end of the fight! Terry Yankiza comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Yankiza has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
