The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed right hand from Farr misses the target.
Farr connects with a right hand. Eldridge shakes it off.

It looks like Michael Eldridge has been cut.

Farr drops Eldridge with a beautiful combination! Eldridge stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Farr is looking for the KO!

Eldridge is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Farr throws a jab but it's blocked by Eldridge.
Farr lands with a good body shot.
Sloppy strikes from Farr. Those never looked like landing.
Eldridge misses with a hook.
Farr uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Eldridge.
The fighters circling - Farr throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Eldridge takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Eldridge scores with a punch to the head.
Farr misses with a double jab.
Farr lands a lovely overhand right.
Eldridge is looking to score with low kicks.
Farr scores with a sloppy right hand. Eldridge should have avoided that one.

That has opened up Michael Eldridge's cut even more.
Eldridge displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Farr throws out the jab.

Farr throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Eldridge throws a lazy right hand but Farr sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Eldridge looks for the body kick but Farr saw that one coming.
Tommy Farr seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Farr lands a left and a right that send Eldridge crashing to the mat, dazed. Farr thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Eldridge is still on wobbly legs! Can Farr finish him?
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Farr fakes the body blow, causing Eldridge to drop his hands! Left hook to the temple! Eldridge goes stiff, and falls face first into the mat. Goodnight!
