Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Thiago Cunha and Mauricio Rocha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lee wants to clinch up but Alvares keeps it at a distance.
Alvares rushes Lee and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Alvares breaks from the clinch.
Lee shoots in for a double leg but Alvares sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Alvares throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Lee's waist but Lee gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Alvares off to one side.
Alvares stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Alvares wants it to stay on the feet.
Anderson Lee seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Alvares throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Alvares shoots in but no luck this time.
Lee scores with a spinning back kick!
Lee moves out of range as Alvares throws a body kick.
Alvares throws a lazy head kick
and Lee counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Alvares!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Lee landing strikes from the mount and Alvares is in trouble!
Lee has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Alvares is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
Alvares tries to reverse the position but Lee maintains control.
Lee looking to finish Alvares with some ground and pound. This is bad for Alvares!
That's one minute gone in the round.
Lee manages to capitalize on a mistake by Alvares to take his back!
Watch the back of the head! Comes the shout from the referee towards Lee.
Lee sinks in the hooks and is looking for the choke. He's got it! Alvares taps out!
