Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Matrim Cauthon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Tomas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Matrim Cauthon! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, James Tomas! The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Hugh Johnson and Eliza Hachem.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! This fight brought to you by 5M nutrition - it's mmmmm tasty. Nice jab by Cauthon. Good standup being displayed there by Cauthon as he connects with a hook. Cauthon scores with a three punch combo!
Cauthon connects with a leg kick. Tomas looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Cauthon throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Tomas stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Cauthon throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Cauthon connects with a looping right hand.
Tomas throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Cauthon's waist but Cauthon gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Tomas off to one side. Tomas takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Cauthon scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Tomas takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Cauthon connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Tomas's hands. Tomas doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cauthon bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Cauthon lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Nice body kick from Cauthon. Tomas looks gassed! Cauthon scores with a hook. Cauthon is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches. Cauthon drops Tomas with a beautiful combination! Tomas stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Cauthon is looking for the KO!

Tomas is rocked! Tomas gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Cauthon gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Tomas is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Matrim Cauthon! A very excited looking Matrim Cauthon rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
