Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Pedro Bino (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gumby Pokey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 16 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Pedro Bino!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Gumby Pokey!
The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Anni Minnemäki and Tarja Halkonen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bino gets the takedown into side control.

Bino tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Bino has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Bino is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Pokey knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Bino tries to move to mount but Pokey blocks the move with his legs.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Pokey wants to control but Bino postures up.

Bino tries for a kimura but Pokey is defending well.

Bino is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Pokey has escaped the position, nice work there.

Pokey tries to bench press Bino off him but Bino keeps the position.

Bino looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.

Bino is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Pokey knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Bino tries for a kimura but Pokey is defending well.

Bino wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Pokey, who protects the arm well.

Pokey is trying to control Bino's posture but Bino avoids it.
I wouldn't like to be where Pokey is right now.
Pokey gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
Bino is thwarting Pokey's attempts to control the position.

Bino is trying to work for a kimura but Pokey is defending well.
Pokey moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

Bino looking to pass the guard.

Bino drops back looking for a leg! Pokey is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Pokey manages to kick Bino off! Bino jumps back into Pokey's guard.
Pokey is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Pokey is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.

Bino postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Pokey is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Bino, into his guard.

Bino is looking for a triangle but Pokey pushes his legs off easily.
Bino is breathing heavily.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Bino is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Pokey trying to control but Bino is working from the bottom.

Pokey stands up from Bino's guard - Pokey perhaps looking for a knockout.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Pokey shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Pokey fails in his attempt to clinch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Pedro Bino dominated that round.

Pokey shoots in but Bino avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Bino scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.

Bino is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

Bino is working for a kimura but Pokey is defending it quite comfortably.
Pedro Bino overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Bino looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Bino is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Pokey makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Pokey.

Bino drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Bino jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Bino drops back, looking for a kneebar! Pokey looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Pokey looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Pokey!
Bino is not content to let Pokey control the position.
Bino is looking to reverse the position.
Pokey works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
Bino is looking for a sweep.

Pokey has hold of Bino's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Bino seems comfortable defending it but Pokey has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Bino is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Bino is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Pokey couldn't care less - he's delighted!
