The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kabasla manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Samburgerhio on his heels. He'll look to pass Samburgerhio's guard now, I'm sure.
Samburgerhio looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Kabasla puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.

Kabasla has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Samburgerhio's face.
Samburgerhio is still in real trouble! Can Kabasla finish him?
Kabasla loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Samburgerhio scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Kabasla land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Kabasla stands and salutes the crowd.
