Kennedy is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Thomas's half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Kennedy has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Gage Thomas showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Thomas drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Kennedy right on the button. Kennedy goes down! Thomas follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Thomas gets the win via TKO!
