Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Mac Danzig (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rock Lobster (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lobster comes into a darkened arena with his song building. The Final Sacrifice kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Mac Danzig! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Rock Lobster! The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Danzig shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Danzig is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Lobster won't allow Danzig to pass to mount. Lobster tries to get to full guard but Danzig has control of the leg. Lobster is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Danzig moves into full mount! Lobster won't be happy about that! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Lobster is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Danzig looking for a guillotine from mount but Lobster is having none of it. Danzig trying to control but he's not successful this time. Lobster really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Danzig avoids the attempt from Lobster to control. Lobster sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lobster is looking for a sweep. Danzig is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Lobster has one foot on Danzig's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet. Lobster leaves Danzig with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Lobster tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Danzig manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Lobster tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Danzig paws at him with a jab and circles away. Lobster tries to clinch but Danzig is having none of it. Danzig fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Lobster gets in close and instigates a clinch. Lobster has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Danzig is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Danzig trying to control the position but instead, Lobster has worked for underhooks and has pushed Danzig into the cage. Danzig breaks from the clinch.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Lobster is defended easily by Danzig.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Danzig has a takedown stuffed. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mac Danzig. That's going to take a lot out of him. Danzig bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Lobster tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Danzig wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Lobster can't do much from the bottom here. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Lobster is looking for a sweep. You can see the frustration on Lobster's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Danzig in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Lobster is tapping! That's the end of the fight!
