Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dj Nelson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Master Blaster (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Blaster is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by The Number of The Beast - Iron Maiden. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
20 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Dj Nelson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
17 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Master Blaster! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Blaster looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Nelson is fending him off so far but Blaster persists. Nope, Nelson circles away and we're back to standing. Blaster shoots in but Nelson avoids the takedown attempt easily. Nelson closes the distance but Blaster moves to the side and Blaster counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Blaster. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Nelson avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Nelson utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Nelson throwing strikes off his back to little effect.
Blaster sitting in guard here, content to control. Blaster looking to sit in guard and control but Nelson gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Nelson postures up.
Blaster has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Nelson is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Blaster. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Blaster is trying to get back to half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Blaster sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Nelson wants to get back to his feet.
Blaster is pressing down on Nelson's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Blaster preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Blaster looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Blaster looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Blaster working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Nelson doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Blaster is tightening it up a little... Nelson has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Nelson reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Nelson taps out! Nice BJJ there by Blaster!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle Choke). Master Blaster! After winning the bout, Master Blaster thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
