Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Angel BloodWing (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nathin Q (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Angel BloodWing!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Nathin Q!
The judges for this bout are , Jack Bonds and Don Winkell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
BloodWing misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Q.
Q closes the distance and clinches up with BloodWing, looking for a takedown. Q pushes BloodWing against the cage but BloodWing circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Q keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from BloodWing.
Angel BloodWing seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
BloodWing misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Q shoots in for a double leg but BloodWing sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
BloodWing leaves Q with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Angel BloodWing has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Nathin Q.
BloodWing loads up on a big right hand but Q slips the punch.

Q drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Q content to stall in guard here.
BloodWing knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Q on the ground.
BloodWing is looking to stand up but Q isn't so interested in that idea.

Q thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Q in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Q trying to control the position from guard on top but BloodWing is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Nathin Q has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
A lazy left from BloodWing finds it's target.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Q is defended easily by BloodWing.
A head kick misses from BloodWing.
BloodWing misses with a double jab.

Q shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in BloodWing's guard.
BloodWing keeping moving, preventing Q from controlling successfully.
Q throws a big elbow that misses.

Q not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Q trying to control the position from guard on top but BloodWing is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Q throws a strike but BloodWing rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Q is trying to control the position from the bottom.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Nathin Q dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!


Q moves away from the strike by BloodWing.
Q takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
BloodWing lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
BloodWing throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
A punch combination from BloodWing misses.
BloodWing with a jab.
Q throws a right hand that BloodWing ducks under and follows up with a left that BloodWing also avoids with ease.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Q closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. BloodWing did well to prevent Q getting side control.

Q is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Q wants to pass the guard but BloodWing is defending well.

Q is working for a kimura but BloodWing is defending it quite comfortably.

Q wants to work for an arm triangle but BloodWing is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
BloodWing tries to kick Q off but Q keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
BloodWing regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Q.
Q throws a big elbow that misses.

Q postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! BloodWing is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Q, into his guard.
Q is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
BloodWing tries to stand but Q is controlling from the bottom.

Q is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and BloodWing defends well.

Q throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! BloodWing escapes and throws Q's legs to the side, diving into side control!

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Q tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but BloodWing wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Q is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
BloodWing wants to stand but Q has his arm trapped.
Nathin Q has got the better of the ground game so far.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Q sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close second round but Nathin Q will probably get the nod - 10:9.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!


A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Q.
BloodWing misses with a series of wild punches.

Q shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Q showed some decent athleticism there.
Q wants to pass to mount but BloodWing is defending the position.

Q wants to work for an arm triangle but BloodWing is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Q is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Q is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Still in half guard, Q seems content to control.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Angel BloodWing has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Q is looking for a kimura but BloodWing is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Q to get the leverage.

Nathin Q comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Q winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
