Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Zachariah Wayne (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gunstar Hero (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wayne comes into the arena with Open your eyes before you die! blaring out of the sound system. Hero has a pretty significant injury - he really shouldn't be fighting right now but he's a warrior and he's here none the less! Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Zachariah Wayne! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Gunstar Hero! The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Daniel Franklin and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wayne looks to score with a jab to the body but Hero is just out of range. Hero looks gassed! Wayne ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Hero moves away. A looping hook to the body misses from Wayne. Hero does a little dance to reset his feet. Wayne lunges at Hero with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Hero's hand. Wayne lunges at Hero with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Hero's hand. Wayne jabs Hero right on the nose. Hero blinks but takes it well. Hero throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Wayne lands with a thumping leg kick.
Wayne closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Wayne lands an elbow. Sloppy strikes there by Wayne. Wayne has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Wayne misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Wayne takes a little break here. Hero wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well. An elbow from Wayne crashes against the mat.
Sloppy strikes there by Wayne. Wayne is looking to take a break and control but Hero is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wayne creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots. Wayne is staying tight to Hero's torso, preventing him from escaping. Wayne tries to score with some ground and pound. Hero controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. Hero is looking for a sweep. Wayne working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Wayne has knee on belly and moves into mount. Wayne lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.

Wayne wants to control the pace but Hero is squirming around nicely. Wayne scoring with strikes but Hero is staying in there. Hero takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
Hero is rocked! Wayne breaks from Hero's wrist control and lands an elbow. Hero is still in real trouble! Can Wayne finish him? Hero takes a big shot to the dome and his eyes have rolled back in his head! Wayne's killer instinct has kicked in as he finishes the fight with more strikes. Impressive finish.
