Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ruben Yvel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jace Beleren (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Beleren comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Young Jeezy 3 A M kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Beleren shoots in but Yvel avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Beleren shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Yvel but Yvel pushes him off and we're back to square one.

and Yvel counters with a good low kick that Beleren was not able to check.

Beleren gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Yvel to score an easy takedown into full guard.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Yvel controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Beleren escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Yvel gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Yvel is pushing down on Beleren's leg trying to pass to half guard. Beleren is fighting to maintain full guard but Yvel has managed to sneak the leg through.
Yvel is stalling here. Beleren is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Yvel seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Beleren has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.
Beleren scores with a couple of short elbows.
Beleren throws an elbow but Yvel slips to the side and avoids it well.
Yvel tries to bench press Beleren off him but Beleren keeps the position.

Beleren is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Yvel looks calm but he's in trouble here. Beleren gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Yvel is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Beleren lets go of the hold and Yvel can pop his arm back in it's socket.
