Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Stan Gage (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vitaliy Klichko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Stan Gage!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
10 - 4 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Vitaliy Klichko!
The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Aleksandr Martynov and Illya Tyunina.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gage dodges the punch combination from Klichko.
Klichko will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Klichko closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Gage's guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Gage has a closed guard, preventing Klichko from standing up.
Gage is working an open guard so Klichko takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Vitaliy Klichko seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Gage tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Klichko smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Gage shoots in looking for a takedown but Klichko manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Gage's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Gage has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Gage there as he acknowledges the shot.
Gage closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Klichko quickly recovers to half guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Gage passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Klichko!
Klichko's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Gage tries to control but Klichko wriggling away.
Klichko is trying to get to the ropes to help him get back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Gage lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Gage looking to secure an arm triangle but Klichko defends it well.

Gage takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Gage wants to control the pace but Klichko is squirming around nicely.
Gage is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Klichko to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Klichko shrugs it off.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Klichko is trying to get to the ropes to help him get back to his feet.

Gage wants to control the pace but Klichko is squirming around nicely.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Klichko is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position.
Klichko defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Gage.

Klichko tries to buck Gage off but Gage takes his back!
Gage is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Klichko defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.

Klichko is very frustrated here, being controlled quite effectively by Gage.
Gage has both hooks in and is working for a choke. Klichko is in real trouble here. Gage gets an arm under the chin and tightens the submission attempt... is this the end? Yes, Klichko is tapping out! Gage wins by rear naked choke!
