Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tommy Polio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michael Hot Chocolate (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hot Chocolate has chosen R.Kelly - The world's greatest as his entrance music. Michael Hot Chocolate will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, William Gold and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Polio circles away from the clinch attempt.
Polio gets a takedown into half guard.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Hot Chocolate can do anything to dispel that myth.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Polio is working for a submission of some sort.
Hot Chocolate trying to control from the bottom.
Polio slows the pace down in half guard.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Polio connects with a nice short shot to Hot Chocolate's temple.
Polio is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Hot Chocolate is just riding it out for now. Polio eventually gives up the hold.
Polio is trying to control the action in half guard but Hot Chocolate is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Polio performing his best blanket impression for a moment.
Polio thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Hot Chocolate's head.
Hot Chocolate is trying to stand.
Polio sitting and controlling from the half guard.
Polio is trying to control the action in half guard but Hot Chocolate is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
We're going to have a standup here because Tommy Polio wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Hot Chocolate shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Polio's guard.
Polio has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
Hot Chocolate lands a couple of decent looking shots.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Polio tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Hot Chocolate postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Polio pulls Hot Chocolate in close to prevent any damage.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Tommy Polio just wasn't active enough.
Polio misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Some bone on bone action there as Polio checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Polio fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Hot Chocolate to the ground. Polio is now in Hot Chocolate's guard.
Hot Chocolate wants to get back to his feet but Polio passes into half guard.
Polio seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Hot Chocolate is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:32 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). Tommy Polio!
