Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Leon Vega (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Liam Machin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Leon Vega has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Leon Vega!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Liam Machin!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, Colin Fotheringham and William Gold.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vega slips a jab and a cross from Machin.
Vega throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Vega throws a push kick but Machin slaps the foot to one side.
Machin throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Vega throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Machin throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Machin ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Machin swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Nice defenses there by Vega.
Vega misses with a head kick.
Machin misses with a double jab.
Machin throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Vega tried to score with a low kick but Machin checks it.
Vega misses with a wild body shot.
Vega gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Machin.
Vega has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.

It looks like Leon Vega has been cut.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Vega punishes Machin's body with a nice straight punch.
A decent looking cross lands there for Machin.

Vega is rocked!
Machin is looking to chop away at Vega's legs.
Oh Vega is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Machin slips a jab from Vega.
Machin plants his feet and throws a brutal three punch combo that sends Vega swiftly into unconsciousness! Right, left, right! Boom, boom, boom! Vega face plants, battered and bloodied! He might never be the same again after that finish!
