Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Alieksiej Iwaczenko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Troy Achilles (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Iwaczenko might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Watch Out!. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Alieksiej Iwaczenko! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Troy Achilles! The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Eliza Hachem and Summer Carpenter.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Iwaczenko scores with a head kick.
It looks like Troy Achilles has been cut. Iwaczenko throws a left and a right that both miss
and Achilles counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Achilles. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Achilles controls from within his opponent's guard. Iwaczenko knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Achilles on the ground. Achilles passes Iwaczenko's right leg, so he's now in half guard. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Achilles keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Achilles uses his free foot to push down on Iwaczenko's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Iwaczenko. Achilles misses with a head shot. Achilles is in the full mount, landing strikes. The referee warns Iwaczenko that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

Right on cue, Achilles cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Achilles tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Achilles has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Achilles breaks from Iwaczenko's wrist control and lands an elbow.

Troy Achilles dominated that round. The cut man is working on Troy Achilles's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Achilles uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Iwaczenko. Achilles blocks a head kick by Iwaczenko.
Iwaczenko slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Iwaczenko throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Achilles manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Iwaczenko on his heels. He'll look to pass Iwaczenko's guard now, I'm sure. Achilles is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Achilles throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Achilles is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Achilles postures up in Iwaczenko's guard and throws a big left but Iwaczenko blocks it. Iwaczenko avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Achilles gets the takedown into side control. Iwaczenko is not in a great position here, taking some shots. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Achilles controlling the position from side mount. Achilles works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head. Iwaczenko is trying to escape the position but Achilles is controlling the position. Achilles working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. A lull in the action here as Achilles stalls from top position.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Achilles is working Iwaczenko over with some ground and pound from side control. Achilles controls the position from side control. Iwaczenko takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Achilles connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Iwaczenko some visible discomfort.

Troy Achilles showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Troy Achilles's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!

and Achilles counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Iwaczenko's guard now. Achilles content to stall in guard here. Achilles drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Achilles jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Achilles showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Achilles is working Iwaczenko over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Achilles slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Achilles advances position into side control! The referee asks Achilles politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Achilles prefers to stall for the moment though. Troy Achilles is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
