Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Yukinari Tamura (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jin Ryo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jin Ryo told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Yuuki Gou and Shigeki Sano.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tamura tries to land a front kick but Ryo steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

Tamura is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Ryo will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
Tamura is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Ryo is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Ryo is trying to control Tamura's posture but Tamura avoids it.

Ryo really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Tamura. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
