Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 1 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 22 - 13 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Thomas Pynchon!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 21 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ari Antenni!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Alan Glass and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Antenni swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Antenni tries to clinch up against the ropes, rushing in the close the distance. Pynchon manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Pynchon slips a straight right by Antenni.
Pynchon swinging wildly here.
Antenni ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Pynchon moves away.
Pynchon tries to bum rush Antenni with a series of wild strikes but Antenni uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Antenni tries to grapple but his opponent circles

and Pynchon counters with a nice double leg into side control. Antenni won't be happy with that.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Pynchon tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.
Pynchon sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Antenni is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Pynchon lands a decent elbow from side control.
Antenni really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Pynchon. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Antenni can do anything to dispel that myth.
Antenni is looking to reverse the position.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

A big shot lands for Pynchon! That's hurt Antenni! Will he recover? Pynchon fires away with more strikes and the referee has to step in to stop the fight!
