Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Diego Sanavio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Van Damme (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Damme has chosen Fight to Survive as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Sanavio lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Sanavio misses with a head kick.
Damme misses with a wild body shot.

Damme clinches up with Sanavio and pushes him back against the cage.

Van Damme is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

and Sanavio counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Sanavio tries to pass the half guard into mount. Damme knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Damme is trying to stand up here but Sanavio is controlling him well.

Diego Sanavio really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that [CBK] LEGAL HIGHS - AJFC ↑ DOUBLE 160Q * logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
