4 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Michael Krauss! The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Shirou Masuda.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tungaw doesn't succeed with the takedown and Krauss counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Tungaw looking for a guillotine here but Krauss defends easily.
Krauss showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Krauss must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Krauss trying to control but Tungaw is working from the bottom.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Michael Krauss. Krauss shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Krauss showed some decent athleticism there. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
That's one minute gone in the round. Krauss is looking for a kimura but Tungaw is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Krauss to get the leverage. Tungaw is looking to improve his position.

Krauss trying to control the position from guard on top but Tungaw is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Krauss engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Krauss throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Tungaw might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Krauss is working Tungaw over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Krauss works over Tungaw with some ground and pound from guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Tungaw is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Tungaw is trying to control. Krauss wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Tungaw is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Krauss sees it coming and defends easily. Tungaw wants to work for an arm triangle but Krauss is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Krauss is looking for a sweep. Tungaw is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. That's three minutes gone in the round. Tungaw is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Krauss sees it coming and defends easily. Tungaw prevents Krauss from standing back up.
Krauss is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first. Krauss holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now. Let's hope that Krauss has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Tungaw wants to work for an arm triangle but Krauss is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Michael Krauss hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Krauss shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Tungaw napping and manages to drive through into side control! Tungaw is not content to let Krauss control the position. Krauss is looking for a kimura. He might have it! Krauss working for a guillotine from mount but Tungaw is in no mood to give up. Tungaw is looking to get to half guard. Tungaw bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! Krauss seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Tungaw trying to control but Krauss is working from the bottom. Tungaw stops Krauss from standing up.
That's six minutes gone in the round. Krauss has his feet on Tungaw's thighs here. He's pushed Tungaw off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Tungaw screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
