Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Sebastian Chira (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Patrick Jayne (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jayne is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by The Doors-People Are Strange . Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Sebastian Chira! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Patrick Jayne! The judges for this bout are Micheangelo Fripello, Chris Saunders and Jeff Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jayne drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Chira prevents Jayne from moving into mount. A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Patrick Jayne. Jayne stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Jayne wants it to stay on the feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jayne closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Chira to the mat! Chira manages to get full guard. Chira trying to control the position.
Jayne is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Jayne wants to pass the guard but Chira is keeping the position. Jayne is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Patrick Jayne hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Jayne gets a takedown into half guard. Jayne is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Jayne is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Chira trying to control here.

Jayne changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Chira looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Jayne staying calm.

That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Chira's guard. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Jayne not doing much here.

Patrick Jayne showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Chira's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. And we move into the final round!
A momentary lapse in concentration from Chira enables Jayne to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Chira manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Jayne sitting in guard, not really doing much. Jayne has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Chira keeping full guard, as Jayne tries to pass.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Sebastian Chira has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Patrick Jayne is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
And that's the end of the fight! Patrick Jayne comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Jayne has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today.
