Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bong Killowatz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Edward Hall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Killowatz comes to the cage accompanied by A Warm Room. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Bong Killowatz!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Edward Hall!
The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Jorge Garcia and Chad Campbell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hall drives through and clinches with Killowatz against the cage.

Hall has clasped his hands together around Killowatz's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.
Hall creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.
Hall trying to control the position but Killowatz is working away.
Hall happy to just control the position for now.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hall throws a strike aimed at the side of Killowatz's head but Killowatz avoids it well.
Hall takes a little break here. Killowatz wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.
Killowatz is trying to control Hall's posture but Hall avoids it.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Hall has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Hall tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Hall has his takedown stuffed
and Killowatz connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.


It looks like Edward Hall has been cut.
Hall should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Hall drives through and clinches with Killowatz against the cage.

Hall breaks the clinch.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Hall.
Killowatz tries to clinch but Hall moves out of range.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Hall dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Killowatz. That did some damage!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Hall moves into the clinch.

Hall gets control of Killowatz's arms and successfully pulls guard. Hall will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Hall looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Hall is pulling down on Killowatz's head to control his posture.

Hall working for a triangle but Killowatz defends it easily.
Killowatz has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Hall controls Killowatz momentarily but Killowatz frees himself.

Hall wriggles free and stands up.

Killowatz gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Killowatz is breathing heavily.
Hall is stalling in the full guard.
Hall throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Hall is in close to Killowatz's body, working some short punches and elbows.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Edward Hall dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Edward Hall's cut.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.


Killowatz takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Hall throws a head kick that looked like it stung.


It looks like Bong Killowatz has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
A good leg kick by Hall.

Hall scores with a takedown into Killowatz's guard.
Hall is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Hall postures up in Killowatz's guard and throws a big left but Killowatz blocks it.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Edward Hall was stalling too much, according to the referee.

Hall changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Killowatz looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Hall looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Hall scores with punches from side control.

Hall lands a decent elbow from side control.
Hall lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Hall passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Killowatz!

Hall looking to isolate an arm here. Killowatz doesn't see it coming and as Hall extends the arm, he's forced to tap out! Nice submission by Hall!

After winning the bout, Edward Hall thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
