Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Leon Wiley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Killson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Leon Wiley! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, John Killson! The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Hugh Johnson and Summer Carpenter.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Killson gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Wiley counters with a single leg into guard. Killson didn't expect that. Killson escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Wiley gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Wiley seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Killson looking for a guillotine here but Wiley defends easily.
Killson has his foot on Wiley's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Wiley works his way back into a safe position though.
That's one minute gone in the round. Killson is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Killson keeping moving, preventing Wiley from controlling successfully. Wiley is really struggling to control Killson but he's trying to hold on to the position. Wiley is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Leon Wiley. Killson closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Wiley quickly recovers to half guard. Wiley manages to get to full guard.
Killson is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Wiley is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Wiley has escaped and now he's on top! Killson should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wiley stopping the sweep attempt from Killson. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Wiley's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Wiley controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Wiley has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Killson is trying to control the position but Wiley postures up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wiley wanted to stand there but Killson had control of the position. Wiley advances to half guard. Wiley wants to stand up but Killson is controlling the position.

Wiley is looking to take a break and control but Killson is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Wiley scores with a couple of good hammerfists. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Wiley is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Wiley seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Killson keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Killson is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Wiley pulls his head out easily. Wiley really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Killson looking for submissions from an awkward position here. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Wiley missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Wiley is trying to work for a kimura but Killson is defending well.

Wiley clinches up with Killson and pushes him back against the cage. Wiley successfully pulls guard.
It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Wiley here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man. Wiley has his feet on Killson's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work. Wiley rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Killson moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Killson shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Wiley napping and manages to drive through into side control! Killson tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Killson has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Killson is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Wiley knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Killson is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Wiley has escaped the position, nice work there.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wiley is looking to reverse the position. Killson thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Killson looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Wiley tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Killson wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Killson working away. Killson tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Wiley stuck in half guard on the bottom here. Wiley wants to control but Killson postures up. Killson goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Wiley rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Killson's guard! Nice work there by Wiley! Killson is trying to control the position from the bottom.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Wiley is looking to work some ground and pound but Killson has wrist control. Wiley trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Wiley controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Killson looking to control.
Killson has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Wiley can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Wiley lands a couple of decent looking shots.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Wiley wants to pass the guard but Killson is keeping the position. Wiley postures up in Killson's guard and throws a big left but Killson blocks it. Wiley wanted to stand there but Killson had control of the position. Wiley pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Killson is keeping the position for now. Leon Wiley overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Wiley has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Killson is proving hard to escape from. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Leon Wiley will probably get the nod. That's time! Wiley's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!
Wiley lands with a slapping head kick. Killson shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Wiley counters with a takedown into side control. Wiley controlling from side mount. Wiley sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Killson is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Wiley working away. Wiley stands up and we're back to a striking position. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Killson shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Wiley manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Killson takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Killson thows a leg kick but Wiley checks it and Wiley counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Killson's guard now. Wiley trying to control but Killson is working from the bottom. Wiley advances to half guard. Killson is looking to control Wiley's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Killson avoid being mounted? The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Wiley is controlling the pace.
