Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Renato Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marcus Stradivarus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Renato Silva! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Marcus Stradivarus! The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Illya Tyunina and Dmitry Maklakov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Stradivarus thumps Silva with a low kick. Stradivarus throws a series of punches but Silva avoids them all with ease. Silva could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Stradivarus throws a left and a right that both miss
and Silva counters with a nice double leg into guard. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Stradivarus trying to control the position here. Silva might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Silva gets to his feet - Stradivarus follows without any prompting. Silva moves into the clinch. Stradivarus has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Silva taking a breather. This has been an exciting period of action! Stradivarus misses with a hook to the ribs.
Stradivarus breaks the clinch.
Stradivarus closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Stradivarus wants to break free but Silva has control.

Stradivarus will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

and Silva counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Stradivarus fails to land with a series of punches.
Stradivarus wants to clinch and Silva decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Stradivarus's guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Silva postures up.
Stradivarus is working an open guard so Silva takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Stradivarus will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

That's two minutes gone in the round. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Silva is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Stradivarus sees it coming and defends easily. Silva decides to stand and escape the position. Stradivarus throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Silva counters with a nice body kick. Stradivarus misses with a body shot
and Silva decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Stradivarus's guard. Silva drops back looking for a leg! Stradivarus is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Stradivarus manages to kick Silva off! Silva jumps back into Stradivarus's guard. Stradivarus really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Silva. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Silva sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Stradivarus's guard. Silva wants to work for an arm triangle but Stradivarus is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Silva decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Stradivarus throws a leg kick and Silva counters with a shoot takedown. Stradivarus fights it but they end up in guard. Silva is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Silva decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Stradivarus, up you get! Silva looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Silva gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Silva gets the takedown into side control. This has been an exciting period of action! That's four minutes gone in the round. Silva tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Stradivarus is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Silva's leg. Oh but that's left an opportunity for Silva! He's got an arm triangle... it looks tight! He's rotating and Stradivarus has tapped! This one is allllll over!
