Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Appllo Cage (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lukas Brantley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Appllo Cage!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Lukas Brantley!
The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Summer Carpenter and Donatello Bradman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brantley misses with a wild combination.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Cage.
Brantley fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Cage takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Brantley rushes Cage and presses him up against the cage.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
Cage has Brantley pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Brantley manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.
Brantley is pressed up against the cage. Cage has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Brantley down to the mat. Brantley avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Appllo Cage. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's one minute gone in the round.
A looping hook to the body misses from Brantley. Cage does a little dance to reset his feet.
Cage misses with a takedown
and Brantley counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Cage thinking.
Brantley lands a left and a right that send Cage crashing to the mat, dazed. Brantley thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Cage is rocked!
It looks like Appllo Cage has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Brantley darts in and clinches Cage up against the cage.
Oh Cage is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Cage wants to stall.
Cage looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Brantley breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Brantley misses with a few strikes there.
Cage seems to have got his legs back now.
Cage drops his hands momentarily and Brantley takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Brantley scores with a hook to the body. Cage takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Brantley throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Brantley just misses with a punch to the body.
Cage shoots and misses
and Brantley counters with a monster hook and another for good measure! Cage falls to the ground, out cold! Stick some heavy metal music over the top of that clip and it's one for the highlight makers!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:14 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Lukas Brantley!
