![](https://www.mmatycoon.com/images/fight/round1.jpg) The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Molot avoids the head kick by Amod.
Molot throws a left and a right that both miss
and Amod counters with a takedown into side control. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Amod is putting a hurting on Molot here, landing some big shots from side control.
Amod is working to tighten is grip on Molot's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Molot has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Amod is really squeezing tight and eventually Molot passes out! Amod breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:26 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). David Amod! A pretty intense looking David Amod took the opportunity post-fight to ask for a shot at the title.
