Cristos comes to the cage accompanied by Cypress Hill - Hand on the Pump. Emanuel has chosen The Wizard by Black Sabbath as his entrance music. Matthew Emanuel has the better chin. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

12 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Matthew Emanuel!
The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Yukihiro Shimada.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cristos is trying hard to land a takedown here. Emanuel sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Emanuel stuffs the takedown.
Cristos shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Emanuel counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Martin Cristos. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Cristos shoots in for a takedown but Emanuel shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Cristos tries for a takedown but Emanuel circles away easily
and Cristos takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Cristos shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Emanuel connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Emanuel lands with a good body shot.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Emanuel, as that shot connected.
It looks like Martin Cristos has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Emanuel looks to land a combination but Cristos avoids it well.
Cristos fails with the takedown
and Emanuel counters with a good, hard body kick but Cristos shrugs it off.
Cristos shoots and misses
and Emanuel counters with a nice right hand that sends Cristos toppling to the canvas! Cristos scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Emanuel finish him?!
Cristos is rocked!
Cristos with a lazy takedown attempt
and Emanuel rattles Cristos with a well-timed uppercut counter. - Cristos tries to back away and recover but his hands are down low and he gets tagged again, sending him stumbling down to the canvas. Emanuel dives in after him and quickly finishes the job with a trio of brutal punches, leaving Cristos stiff and motionless on the mat!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Matthew Emanuel!
